I am a wildlife biologist/conservation biologist with teaching and research commitments. I have worked in NY State as well as several western states, and in Costa Rica and East Africa.

research and scholarship focus

I am a conservation biologist, who has primarily studied populations of birds and mammals in natural habitats. Currently, I am involved deeply in the development of biological indicators to monitor whether biodiversity and ecosystem services are conserved in agricultural landscapes as changes occur in those landscapes.
