I teach two sections per semester and a summer course to undergraduates and some graduate students in animal science, biology, human ecology and engineering. My classes cover the basic techniques and methods needed to work with and understand the role of microorganisms in everyday living, as well as their role in changing our environment. Usually I have contact with 80 students per year (fall, spring and summer semesters).
