I am an assistant professor in the Government department and a faculty member of the Southeast Asia Program. I study comparative politics and political economy, with a focus on emerging market economies in Southeast Asia. Here at Cornell I also serve as the Executive Director of the International Political Economy Program and the Associate Director of the Cornell Modern Indonesia Project. I received my Ph.D. in political science from Yale University in May 2007, and was an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder from August 2007 to June 2008.
