Dickson Phillips of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and then for Justice Sandra Day O'Connor of the U.S. Supreme Court. He joined the Cornell Law School faculty in 1983. In his time at Cornell, Professor Schwab has examined issues in labor and employment law through empirical analysis, as well as from comparative and law and economics perspectives.
