Janet McCue is the Associate University Librarian for Teaching, Research, Outreach, and Learning Services.  She provides leadership, overall budget direction for public services, and facilitates strong communication and collaboration among the unit libraries.  Working with an engaged team of library directors, she focuses on strategic planning initiatives, virtual and in-person services, and current and emerging needs of faculty and students.  Formerly, she was the director of Mann Library where she worked on both the renovation project and the $4M endowment campaign for mann Library.  Her research interests include digital library development, changing staffing patterns in research libraries, and in her spare time, a biography of Horace Kephart, author, librarian, and outdoorsman who played a significant role in the establishment of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
