  • CERP is a nonprofit agency of the Department of Education in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University. We are committed to increasing awareness and understanding of agriculture among educators and students. Our ultimate vision, with your help, is an understanding and appreciation of agriculture by all.

    CERP Goals

    • Develop, evaluate, and disseminate educationally sound curriculum and instructional materials for both formal and non-formal educational programs engaged in the study of agriculture, life sciences, food systems and nutrition, urban agriculture, environmental and natural resources, agriculture literacy, community and rural development and/or international issues.
    • To educate elementary, secondary, and post-secondary educators; Cooperative Extension staff; and other adult educators; regionally, nationally, and internationally, about the curriculum and instructional materials development process.
    • Provide teachers and educators with the capability to evaluate, adapt, and/or develop curriculum and instructional materials for their programs.
