William Buckley Briggs, Adjunct Professor of Law, received his B.S. in1976 from Cornell; his M.A. in 1978 from George Washington; and his J.D. in 1982 from Georgetown. He was admitted in the District of Columbia, 1983. Staff Counsel, National Football Players Association/Federation of Professional Athletes, 1982-88; engaged in representation of professional athletes in arbitration hearings, 1988-94. Assistant General Counsel, NFL Management Council, since 1995. Adjunct Professor, University of Toledo College of Law, 1988-89; Adjunct Professor, Drake College of Law, 1988; Visiting Associate Professor, School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University, 1989-94; Adjunct Professor, University of Pennsylvania Law School, since 1990, Cornell Law School, since 1990. He will teach Sports Law in the spring semester.
