Reference Services CoordinatorNancy joined the reference staff in Olin Library in 1981. After initiating a graduate-level instruction program she assumed responsibility for managing the staff and services of the Information Desk. From 1984-1993 she was also responsible for collection development in anthropology and Native American Studies. Since 1998 Nancy has assisted in managing Reference Services for Olin & Uris libraries, coordinating the staff training program and expanding the availability of online or "digital" reference services. She became the Library Liaison for the Sociology Department in 2007 and is responsible for collection development in sociology and related social science fields for Olin Library.

teaching focus
As part of the Olin & Uris libraries instruction program, Nancy teaches course-related sessions on library research strategies and resources for classes on sociology, social movements and related social science areas. She also provides a library resource and service overview for new graduate students in the Sociology Department each year.
