Jennifer Grant is an assistant director with the NYS Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program. The mission of this program is to develop and deliver sustainable ways to manage pests, helping people use methods that minimize environmental, health, and economic risks. Grant is also the Coordinator for the Community IPM effort that reduces risks posed by pests and pest control methods in urban, suburban and rural areas. Grant’s specialty is extending and researching low-impact pest management practices for turfgrass. She also overseas and helps coordinate programs in school IPM, and structural and wildlife pest management.
